Challenge
Launch the biggest lineup change in company history without compromising the “die-hard’ relationship between the brand and the fans.
Idea
Showing Harley Davidson riders why they should consider Rushmore for their next purchase was delivered through an innovative marriage of a full-screen video with interactivity, combined with a companion microsite—celebrating the riders stories and fueling the fantasy of the open road. Users could seamlessly jump in and out of the video experience to discover new features or simply immerse themselves in an epic ride.
Result
Harley Davidson experienced the largest year-over-year product sales increase in two decades, enabled by more than 1.4 million visits in 4 weeks. Audiences were highly engaged with the site and video content, with more than 50% of visitors watching for 10 minutes.
